Join the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, NYC Plover Project, and Assembly Member Stacey Pheffer Amato for a World Wetlands Day cleanup at Breezy Point. Volunteers will help remove trash from the shoreline which is an important habitat for nesting piping plovers and other birds. Gloves, bags, tools will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring their own water and sunscreen. Event is rain or shine.
