International Coastal Cleanup Day at Plumb Beach

As part of International Coastal Cleanup Day and the start of Climate Week, join Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy and Global Citizen, to help remove debris from the shoreline, marsh, and greenway surrounding Plumb Beach and record data to contribute to advocacy efforts worldwide!

This cleanup event is supported by Assemblymember Jaime R. Williams, Councilmember Mercedes Narcisse, Goodera, conEdison and NYC Ferry, along with our partners, The American Littoral Society NYS Beach Cleanup Program, Black Surfing Association, and Surfrider Foundation NYC. By participating in the cleanup, Global Citizens will also have the opportunity to earn tickets to the upcoming Festival on September 28th.

Gloves, bags, and tools will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring their own water and sunscreen. Event is rain or shine.
