Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy presents the Floyd Bennett Field! Public Arts Festival on April 19-21, 2024. The Festival will feature 2 evenings of site-specific digital art works projection mapped onto the monumental 11,000-square-foot façade of historic Hangars 3 & 4. Additional events throughout the weekend include a silent dance party, behind-the-scenes tours, food trucks, music, and more! All events are free.
This family-friendly weekend-long event is a celebration of the park’s rich history and vibrant future as a destination for millions of New Yorkers and visitors to enjoy a National Park experience in the urban environment. The Festival coincides with the conclusion of Gateway’s 50th anniversary year and the anticipated rehabilitation and reactivation of these significant structures.
