A celebration of our feathered neighbors for first time birders and avian experts, young and old
Join the American Littoral Society, New York City Audubon Society, Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, and the National Parks Service to explore the diversity of New York City’s shorebirds. The event begins in earnest at 10:00 a.m., but early birds can meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center for a hike to the East Pond with shorebird experts.
The festival is kid-friendly and can be enjoyed by the whole family.
