Join the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, Council Member Donovan J. Richards and NYC Parks for a beach cleanup and planting project at Rockaway Beach in celebration of Earth Day 2020! Help remove harmful debris from the beach and dunes, and plant native grasses and shrubs along the iconic Rockaway Beach boardwalk.
Gloves, bags, tools and refreshments will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy, close toed shoes. Event is rain or shine.
