Free guided bird watching in Far Rockaway this Saturday!

NYCHA in Nature is a partnership program with NYC Audubon and the Fund for Public Housing, offering free bird-watching opportunities and exposure to nature for NYCHA residents and the general public. The guided walking tour will lead participants around NYCHA's Beach 41st Street Houses and Bayswater Park. The Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy educator will be on hand to talk about Jamaica Bay's marine life and how the bay supports millions of migrating birds annually.  

Registration is optional but encouraged. Binoculars will be provided. Please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
