World Ocean Day Cleanup at Plumb Beach

Join the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy for a shoreline cleanup at Plumb Beach on World Ocean Day, supported by Assembly Member Jaimie R. Williams and Council Member Mercedes Narcisse!

Volunteers will help remove trash and debris from Plumb Beach’s important shorelines and wetlands while enjoying incredible views of Jamaica Bay! World Ocean Day is an annual event that brings together thousands of volunteers to celebrate and support our Oceans!

Gloves, bags, and tools will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring their own water and sunscreen. Event is rain or shine.
