Join the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy and the American Littoral Society for a spring clean at Frank Charles Park. Volunteers will help maintain the planted areas along the central and north pathways by removing harmful weeds and invasive plants. This work will help the native plants grow and thrive!

In order to ensure your health and safety, ​please make sure to follow the socially distant volunteer guidelines found at jbrpc.org/volunteer. A face covering is required, and social distancing will be practiced throughout the event. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.

Gloves, bags, and tools will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring their own water and sunscreen. Event is rain or shine.

Registration is required and participation is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please review the Socially Distant Volunteer Guidelines before registering and only register if you are healthy and able to attend.
