Join the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy and Assembly Member Jaime R. Williams for a shoreline cleanup at Canarsie Pier on I Love My Park Day. Volunteers will help remove trash and debris from Canarsie Pier’s important shorelines while enjoying incredible views of Jamaica Bay! I Love My Park Day is an annual event that brings together thousands of volunteers to celebrate and enhance New York's parks, historic sites, and public lands.
In order to ensure your health and safety, please make sure to follow the socially distant volunteer guidelines found at jbrpc.org/volunteer. A face covering is required, and social distancing will be practiced throughout the event. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.
Gloves, bags, and tools will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring their own water and sunscreen. Event is rain or shine.
Registration is required and participation is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please review the Socially Distant Volunteer Guidelines before registering and only register if you are healthy and able to attend.
