National Public Lands Day at Canarsie Pier
Be part of the Respect Campaign and join the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, the United Nations-Olaf Palme Peace Foundation, and Assembly Member Jaime R. Williams for a shoreline cleanup at Canarsie Pier on National Public Lands Day. Canarsie Pier is a popular destination for fishing and picnicking as part of Gateway National Recreation Area. Volunteers will help remove debris from Canarsie Pier’s important shorelines, while enjoying incredible views of Jamaica Bay!
